Aquaculture and global value chain: bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer

This study aims to map and identify trends in the worldwide scientific production related Global Value Chain (GVC) approach aquaculture. A bibliometric analysis was employed using articles reviews from Scopus database. The software VOSviewer used visualize authors, institutions, journals, country distribution, references, keywords. As results, analyzed co-citation of authors 29 publications found that Gary Gereffi Stefano Ponte were consistently cited together, indicating their importance GVC literature. Additionally, aquaculture field showed a greater centrality researchers such as Simon R. Bush, David C. Little Ben Belton. Five thematic groups identified through keyword co-occurrence These include topics, well clusters focused on pillars (upgrading governance). last cluster is concerned primarily with systems certification standards for farms. we emerging topics literature believe could be connected COVID-19.
